An impressive number of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) were showcased at this year’s CV Show, with 13 planned UK and global launches from leading LCV manufacturers.

Some of the world’s biggest names in the LCV sector brought new models to the event, with some very special unveilings taking place, including the Citroen Dispatch, Peugeot Expert and Toyota ProAce.

Other top exhibitors that were in attendance at this year’s show include Ford, Iveco, Mitsubishi, Renault, Volkswagen, Isuzu and SSangyong, plus many more.

CV Show director Rob Skelton commented: “The number of major manufacturers who have chosen CV Show 2016 to launch their new vans and pick-ups shows just how important the event has become.

“There’s a huge amount of excitement around the show this year, especially with the recent growth in van registrations.”

Following the announcement – courtesy this week of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders – that more than four million LCVs are now in operation across the UK, it is all the more timely that the show has taken place.

Held in Halls 3a, 4 and 5 of the Birmingham NEC until April 28th, this year’s CV Show was bigger and better than ever, offering the perfect opportunity for fleet operators to network and learn more about the best new models that will be coming to the market in the months ahead.
