Fuel card news: Berlingo bags another award

Haulage companies planning to make smaller deliveries in 2012 may be interested in the new Citroen Berlingo model to fulfil their needs, after the vehicle received another award in recent days.

It has been named the Institute of Transport Managers' (ITM) Best LCV of 2012, with the judges impressed by the vehicles excellent drivability, fuel efficiency and low emissions, making it the ideal light commercial vehicle (LCV) for day-to-day use.

The ITM stated: "The Berlingo has all the equipment and space of a LCV and yet drives like a car ... It hits all the right buttons in areas such as efficiency, comfort, practicality and safety."

Earlier this month, the company revealed the installation of Citroen's Stop & Start technology has helped make the vehicle one of the most fuel-efficient LCVs in the UK and also the perfect choice for those looking to meet low emission guidelines for operations in London.
