25 January, 12 A major fleet industry award has been bestowed on the driver training arm of the AA at the 2012 Business Car Awards. AA Drivetech has been named top in the Risk Management category, with the organisation being honoured for the quality of the training it provides to help individuals gain qualifications in a range of areas, from limousine licences to specialist HGV courses. Managing director Jim Kirkwood said: "We are particularly pleased to receive this accolade as this award is unique in the fleet industry and voted for exclusively by the readers of Business Car magazine and Business Car online." He added that it is extremely gratifying that so many people have taken the time to express their satisfaction with the work being carried out by the organisation. The news follows a recent announcement that the Mini Hatch was named 2012 Supermini of the Year at the awards, which took place in London earlier this month.
