27 January, 12 A number of new workshops are being delivered by Transport for London (TfL) to aid haulage companies operating in the capital. Taking place throughout January and February, the events are designed to help keep hauliers running smoothly through the run-up to and during the upcoming London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which will be kicking off in July. It will help to highlight the route netork open to operators during the games, as well as outlining the preparations that have already been put in place to help the industry to continue operating as normal. Furthermore, the Association of Car Fleet Operators (ACFO) recently warned businesses across the country will likely see an impact during the games, with increased traffic flows being seen across the UK. Julie Jenner, ACFO chairman, said: "There are events taking place in many other towns and cities. Organisations may be located many miles from London, but they would be wrong to think that the games will not impact on them." Find out more about the Shell fuel card and start saving now.
