Fuel card news: Veloster receives 5-star Euro NCAP rating

09 February, 12
The new Hyundai Veloster has achieved the maximum safety rating from Euro NCAP, receiving five stars.

Fleet managers across the UK might therefore be tempted to invest in the new model for their business, with the addition of the innovative tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) helping to make the vehicle one of the safest for drivers.

TPMS is set to become a legal requirement for all new cars sold in Europe from November this year, with the technology having the dual benefits of safety and economy, as correctly inflated tyres not only adhere to the road better, but also result in lower emissions from the vehicle and less fuel consumption.

Meanwhile, the Ford Focus recently picked up the award for Europe's Best in Class small family car by Euro NCAP.

The organisation praised the company's dedication to safety and reliability, and highlighted the Focus as a standout vehicle in its class.
