Innovation plays an important part of progress in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) market and Peugeot believes its new Expert model takes this ethos to the extreme.

Set to receive its global debut at the Birmingham NEC at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show on April 26th, the Expert is the marque’s newest addition to its award-winning LCV line-up.

A host of options are available for buyers of the new model, with the automotive manufacturer’s head of commercial vehicles David MacQueen arguing: “The new Peugeot Expert offers a tailored solution for every business, particularly professionals who regularly work in an urban environment.”

Indeed, standout features of the new model include measures to improve both practicality for day-to-day use, as well as new technologies to boost performance, comfort and drivability.

Some of the top new features that help the Expert to stand out from the crowd are:

  • Real-time traffic updates and weather warnings for drivers based on their planned routes.
  • Additional cup holders and glove boxes to improve storage.
  • An all-new multimedia system complete with seven-inch capacitive touchscreen.
  • A new eight-litre storage compartment beneath the front two-seat passenger bench.
  • The manufacturer’s new drive-time warning system – an alert for the driver after two hours of uninterrupted travel.
  • Enhanced grip control for improved traction.
  • Automatic blind spot monitoring.
  • Plus much, much more.

Set for release in the coming weeks, the new Peugeot Expert also boasts exceptional green credentials, meaning fleet operators of all sizes might like to consider a trial of this top new model when planning their next fleet upgrade.
