EUROSHELL FUELCARD ACCEPTED ON M6TOLL
-
Shell has announced that it has signed a card acceptance agreement with M6toll, Britain's first privately funded tolled motorway, to offer toll charge payments using their euroShell card from The Fuelcard People.
Shell, along with Total (also available from The Fuelcard People), is one of the major oil companies to co-operate with M6toll and the new offering will enable our customers from all fleet sizes and vehicle types, to use their euroShell Card to pay for both fuel and toll charges.
Fleet managers will therefore be able to view incurred toll charges online, receive all vehicle-related expenses in a single invoice to simplify cost management.
This is the first step in Shell's journey to enhance the service it provides to the customers of The Fuelcard People, aiming to deliver ever increased levels of service, savings and security.
Perrin Baker, Senior Marketing manager, Shell Commercial Fleet said: "The M6toll is an important route for Shell fleet customers and euroShell was one of the first fuel cards to secure its toll payments as a service. Drivers will now be able to access the premium road service much more easily, while fleet managers can monitor toll transactions online, removing the headache of receiving a number of different invoices and making cost management that bit easier."
Tom Fanning, chief executive of Midland Expressway Limited, added: "We are delighted to be working with Shell to bring about this enhancement of service to our mutual customers. We are making it easier for customers to pay and this innovation will certainly enhance the service for those customers who choose to use the M6toll."
Full pricing details are available upon request.
