Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has embarked on a tour of the south-west of England as the manufacturer aims to highlight its latest models for fleet operators across the region and the UK as whole.

The firm began with the unveiling of its latest designs last weekend at the Bournemouth Air Festival, with the programme of events set to culminate on Monday (August 29th) with a standalone show in Lyme Regis.

Volkswagen's new Caravelle and Amarok models are taking centre stage during this roving showcase, with the company keen to demonstrate the attractiveness and functionality of its models at some of the south-west's top beauty spots.

Other locations that have been included in this one-off tour are Falmouth Custom House Quay, Padstow Harbour and Saunton Sands.

The manufacturer hopes to bolster awareness of its brand among the British public as a result of this latest tour, with sun-lovers and beachgoers across the region being given information on the many packages on offer.

A social media competition was also launched to coincide with the event, with the aim of ensuring the Caravelle and Amarok names are first on the lips of prospective fleet purchasers in the months ahead.

Overall, the event has been described as a "road trip to highlight [the] practicality and value of Volkswagen's award-winning commercial vehicles".
