TOTALCARD ACCEPTED ON M6TOLL

    TOTAL was the UK's first petrol retailer to partner with Midland Expressway and enable drivers to use their fuel cards as forms of payment when at the M6 Toll.

    The M6 Toll is Britain's first privately funded tolled motorway, stretching for 27 miles from near Cannock, Staffordshire to Coleshill, Warwickshire. It is utilised by nearly 45,000 drivers every working day of the year. As a strategic bypass route, the M6 Toll offers drivers the opportunity to avoid a section of the heavily congested existing M6, delivering significant time savings at peak times.

    As of 1st October 2009, TOTALCARD cardholders will be able to conveniently use their fuel cards on the M6 Toll as payment and at no extra cost or hassle to their employer. In fact no action is required from the business.

    The M6 Toll transactions will be invoiced together with a company's fuel transactions in a clear and straightforward VAT approved format, making the expense process more cost and time effective for both the employee and accounts department.
