Mitsubishi Motors has held its inaugural Truck King Battle and the winner of the most innovative and exciting design has now been announced.

Joanne Tulloch, sales administrator at Livery Dole Mitsubishi in Exeter, was named the winner with her design for the Mitsubishi L200 ‘eSPORTS Concept’.

L200 eSPORTS features major modifications

Inspired by Joanne and her family’s love of gaming, the concept features a high-roof gaming zone, complete with large screens, games consoles and sundry equipment.

It also includes a fully stocked refreshment bar and high-power audio system, as well as bespoke seating and lighting.

The Truck King Battle saw five finalist entries showcased to followers of the brand’s social media channels. It was the L200 eSPORTS that gained the largest following online, and was therefore declared this year’s winner.

Rob Lindley, managing director at Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said: “The five finalist’s designs were all fantastic and demonstrated the versatility of the Mitsubishi L200 and the creativity of the staff within our Mitsubishi UK dealer network.

“The winning design is a truly unique and modern concept that is sure to turn heads.”

Joanne’s L200 eSPORTS will now be made a reality, with her winning design set to be created and showcased at this year’s upcoming Commercial Vehicle (CV) Show in Birmingham (April 30th to May 2nd).

Heather Stark, brand manager at The Fuelcard People, comments: “It’s great to see the innovative design now being built for real. It’s sure to be a popular attraction for everyone at this year’s CV Show.”
