The Fuelcard People had a fantastic day attending the Get Connected Watford Expo earlier this month (November 18th).

Organised as a way for local businesses to get together, the one-day event is one of the largest of its kind in the region.

Covering Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and north London, the Expo is supported by an array of local public sector bodies and businesses, with The Fuelcard People among its chief proponents.

Representatives from Watford Borough Council and Watford & West Herts Chamber of Commerce were also on hand to support the hundreds of individuals that attended this latest industry showpiece.

The Fuelcard People attendee Shakil Dharas described the Expo as "a brilliant business networking event at the Watford Expo organised by Get Connected".

He commented: "We were busy from the outset and the flow of people was constant with good seminars on offer pulling in local businesses. The local council supported the event with free parking and we at The Fuelcard People had an amazing day signing up new business."

Attendees were given the chance to improve the standing of their business, meet potential new contacts and suppliers, as well as networking with likeminded company representatives keen to raise the profile of the area as key business hub.

Offering a range of expert seminars, the event was also a fantastic day for all those hoping to learn more about all aspects of local business operations.
