Scania has introduced a fuel card in partnership with industry experts The Fuelcard People, who will administer the service. The Scania Fuel Card is available to all UK transport operators from single-vehicle owner-drivers upwards, enabling companies of all sizes to enjoy lower fuel prices nationwide. There is no minimum expenditure and zero-liability insurance against loss and theft is available.

The interval between filling the tank and paying for the fuel can mean up to a fortnight of credit, with no interest charges. Every customer is offered a choice of fuel networks, so that each has the best fuel card package to suit their individual needs. One card is issued for each vehicle operated, with no upper limit, and there are no card charges for the first year. Scania Fuel Card users do not have to deal with anonymous call centre operators, as each is assigned a dedicated, named account manager.

Customers have 24/7 secure online access to their accounts, including details of refuelling which has yet to be invoiced. Bespoke reports are available upon demand and a range of customer-chosen usage parameters and alarms can be specified.
