The Association of Car Fleet Operators (ACFO) is all set to highlight the 'cradle to the grave' approach for fleet management in the UK at its upcoming annual general meeting and conference.
Set to take place on May 16th at Rockingham Motor Speedway in Northamptonshire, the event will see keynote speakers including Steve Huddart, service, maintenance and repair leader at GE Capital, and ACFO director and purchasing and contracts manager at Arcadia John Pryor.
ACFO director and deputy chairman Damian James said: "The event will provide members and guests with the opportunity to hear the views of experts and obtain answers to key questions to enable them to further improve the operational effectiveness and efficiency of their fleet."
Road safety charity Brake will also be holding its annual Fleet Safety Conference in June, with the organisation planning to highlight the importance of automatic braking systems to fleet safety, as well as the promotion of safer driving techniques.
