Improvement of the Jaguar F-Type is moving on apace, with the model successfully completing its first dynamic challenge outside of the manufacturer's internal development programme.

World-renowned drivers Martin Brundle, Christian Danner and Justin Bell all had the chance to take the F-Type for a spin earlier this week at the Snetterton 300 circuit in Norfolk, with all three praising the vehicle's handling and performance.

They were the first drivers outside of Jaguar's in-house testing team to push the F-Type's operational limits.

Mike Cross, chief engineer for vehicle integrity at Jaguar, commented: "To witness three respected drivers take to the track and to hear their positive comments validate our work has been great."

The F-Type was unveiled to the UK public at the Lord Mayor's Show last month, with the vehicle being driven by Olympic gold medallist Jessica Ennis and accompanied by two classic Jaguar E-Types.
