Skoda UK has announced it has surpassed a previous milestone for annual registrations, two months ahead of the end of the year.
The vehicle manufacturer revealed it has now delivered more vehicles in 2012 than it did during the whole of 2011, reporting a 17.6 per cent annual rise to 46,281 vehicles so far.
Alasdair Stewart, brand director for Skoda UK, commented: "Today's news that we've already beaten 2011's total – itself the previous highest-ever UK figure – demonstrates the momentum Skoda has in the UK."
He added that this is the fourth consecutive year that the year has built on its previous success and delivered a new record level of performance.
The company was bolstered by a significant upturn in registrations over recent months, with the firm reporting its best ever August performance back in September. A 12.1 percent increase in deliveries during the month helped to pave the way for this latest positive announcement.
