Volvo Trucks has announced the launch of a new app to help its customers keep track of their fleet movements.

The Dynafleet app enables fleet managers to effectively manage route planning and other essential tasks, as well as providing up-to-the-minute vehicle location data, fuel consumption reports, driver timetable information and emissions data, plus much more.

Jarkko Aine, communications and competence manager at Volvo Trucks, commented: "The interface is clear and simple whilst allowing users to access important fleet information at any time and from anywhere just with a tap of a finger."

He added that the new app also provides greatly improved access from mobile devices, ensuring fleet managers can be updated on the go.

Last month, the Road Haulage Association announced an update to its RHA Smart App offering.

The application is available for UK haulage providers and provides them with easy access to numerous essential documents, including defect report cards, traffic updates and log books.
