Vehicle manufacturer Mazda has announced the launch of a new retail sales push to promote its Mazda6 model to more buyers across the UK.

The company has witnessed a 1.1 per cent upturn in the vehicle's retail market share over the last 12 months to 9.5 per cent, but the firm is hoping to drive further increases over the coming months through a new zero per cent finance option for investors.

Mazda UK sales director Peter Allibon commented: "This latest enhancement of our Mazda6 sales campaign now gives even more people the ability to own this fantastic car."

He added the vehicle offers a "spacious" and "luxurious" interior coupled with a strong presence on the road, making it an ideal choice for both fleet and private purchasers.

The Mazda6 range currently consists of 20 saloon and 16 tourer variants for buyers, with prices starting from £19,595 and £21,315 respectively.
