With fuel prices continuing to spiral, economy is now one of the most desirable factors when selecting a new car to buy, while forcing private and business drivers to consider everything they do behind the wheel. It’s a cost nobody can ignore.

The MPG Marathon, in conjunction with ALD Automotive and Shell Fuelsave. is a live demonstration of how both car and driver can make a massive difference to fuel costs and emissions.

Now in its 14th year the MPG Marathon, pits teams of contestants together over a two-day event to push for the best fuel economy.

This year’s event will take place at the fantastic Cotswold Water Park Four Pillars Hotel, near Cirencester, on Wednesday 8th October – Thursday 9th October 2014.

Previous competitors have included everyone from celebrities, academics and motoring journalists to senior figures in the automotive industry, with coverage across regional and national press.
