There are now less than six months to go until the annual Commercial Vehicle (CV) Show 2014 opens its doors to expectant crowds and the event’s organisers are keen to showcase the myriad exhibitors that have already signed up to take part.
Attracting more than 18,000 visitors in 2013, the CV Show is one of the UK’s premier events for those operating in the transport sector, with suppliers, manufacturers and members of the road freight and logistics sectors all coming together to highlight the latest developments in the industry.
With more than 290 exhibitors already booking their places for 2014, there is a growing sense that next year’s show could be among the biggest and best to date – especially given the fact exhibitor numbers are already 26 per cent up on 2013.
Indeed, the organisers are welcoming the return of many familiar faces in 2014, including bodywork and trailer builders Al-Ko Kober, Whale Tankers, GM Coachwork, Magyar and many more, but will also be showcasing a range of newcomers to the show as well.
Marketing manager at AL-Ko Kober Paul Jones commented: “We’ve always had a successful Show and an early booking will ensure that we are situated near our customers. If this year’s turnout is anything to go by, next year will be very busy indeed and for us, the planning process is already underway.”
Some of the biggest names in the automotive market will be setting up exhibitions of their latest designs and innovations for the CV sector, with the return of Vauxhall among this group.
Steve Bryant, Vauxhall’s commercial vehicle brand manager, stated the company is delighted to be returning to the event in 2014 in what is the UK’s largest showcase for the CV industry.
“Vauxhall has always been a big supporter of the CV Show,” he concluded.
Set to run from April 29th to May 1st, the CV Show 2014 will be held at Birmingham’s NEC and promises to be a major event for the UK’s transport and fleet managers.
