The Fuelcard People is proud to publicise an upcoming event from our industry partner ECO Stars to showcase the ECO Fleet Recognition Scheme.
Aimed at helping fleet operators within the A5 partnership to achieve a reduction in costs, the event will take place at Lutterworth's Magna Park on February 1st.
Running from 13:30 to 15:30 GMT, the event is free to attend and will highlight the significant savings that can be made when operators sign up to take part in the scheme.
Based on an average 80,000 miles per year for individual vehicles, with fuel consumption of 8mpg and a diesel cost of £1.07 per litre, ECO forecasts operators could save up to £2,450 per year on fuel.
Moreover, the event will highlight the myriad benefits of the ECO Fleet Recognition Scheme, including details of how businesses can improve air quality in their area and enhance their overall environmental credentials, as well as achieving a competitive advantage over their rivals.
More than 40 companies are already signed up to the initiative in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent – ranging from some of the biggest high street names to small, family-run businesses.
All those interested in being recognised as a greener operator within their community and among their customers should therefore sign up now by contacting Ellie Galloway (egalloway@trl.co.uk) to book their place.
Ben Robb, brand manager at The Fuelcard People, adds: "Fleet operators should always be on the lookout to maximise their efficiency and make savings where they can, and this coming ECO Stars event is a perfect opportunity to do so."
