Luxury vehicle manufacturer Bentley has published its financial results for the 12 months to the end of December 2013 and revealed significant growth in both profits and turnover.
The company’s data showed a record 66.9 per cent increase in operating profit in comparison to 2012 at £139.7 million, while turnover for the group was up by 15.5 per cent to £1.4 billion.
Meanwhile, the firm’s profit margin has increased to ten per cent and the good news was continued into February, with the company highlighting a 13 per cent annual increase in global deliveries to 1,408 vehicles during the month.
Dr Wolfgang Schreiber, chairman and chief executive of Bentley Motors, commented: “The luxury car market is not static. We will continue to make sure that Bentley will meet the changing needs of our discerning customers.”
He added the firm is entering 2014 on the back of a record 12 months in the previous year. However, with future strong growth predicted, this year could also be one to remember for the business.
