Vehicle manufacturer BMW has announced the launch of its new coupe model the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe.
The first four-door coupe to be delivered in the history of the car developer, the Gran Coupe will be powered by an innovative new V8 engine delivering 450 bhp for drivers.
It will also feature a six-speed automatic transmission as standard, as well as adaptive LED headlights, BMW's EfficientDynamics technology and the manufacturer's Auto Start Stop function for reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
Adrian van Hooydonk, senior vice president of BMW Group Design, said: "Like no other BMW, the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe unites extraordinary dynamics and the sheer good looks of a classic BMW Coupe with luxurious appeal."
Earlier this month, the manufacturer announced the launch of its new X1 model.
In total, BMW is releasing six variants of its new design, including the sDrive18d and xDrive25d that feature fuel consumption of 47.9 to 57.6 mpg.
