Luxury sports car manufacturer Caterham has unveiled new plans aimed at making the marque a household name around the world.
A strategy has now been put in place by Tony Fernandes, Caterham Group co-chairman, to roll out a range of innovative new crossover and small car models under the Caterham brand, with Asia in particular highlighted as a key market for the company in the years to come.
Delivering a range of personal sports cars for smaller budgets, as well as taking its first steps into the crossover and city cars sector, the firm is intent on expanding its product offering.
Mr Fernandes commented: "Caterham will show itself to be a progressive, open and entrepreneurially powered car brand that will deliver and surprise in equal measure."
He added the brand has been a British institution for the last 40 years, but the time has now come for Caterham to expand across the globe.
