Citroen has extended its fleet light commercial vehicle (LCV) range to include the new Euro 5 Dispatch HDi 125 six-speed manual L2H1 1200 Crew Van.

This latest model joins the Berlingo five-seat Crew Van in this growing area, with buyers being offered the choice of the company's two year/unlimited mileage or three year/100,000 mile warranty, with Trafficmaster Smartnav satellite navigation and Trackstar stolen vehicle tracking as standard.

"With its combination of 1,067 kg payload, six seats and a large load compartment, the Dispatch Crew Van meets most operator needs in this growing LCV market sector," commented Scott Michael, Citroen's commercial vehicle operations manager.

This latest launch follows the announcement last month that Citroen has decided to call a day on the production of its Berlingo First LCV model.

Having first come on to the market 15 years ago, the Berlingo First has sold more than 140,000 units in the UK, but the company is now keen to update its product range.
