Vehicle manufacturer Mazda has seen considerable improvement in the levels of customer satisfaction reported by its buyers over the last 12 months.
According to the latest Auto Express Driver Power Survey, the company has moved from 12th for satisfaction in the UK in 2012 to fourth this year, with the XC-5 claiming fifth position overall in the top 100 models list.
In total, Mazda has five vehicles in the top 100 for consumer satisfaction in the UK – its Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda CX-5, MX-5 and Mazda6.
Mazda UK managing director Jeremy Thomson commented: "We are absolutely delighted with this result. The Driver Power Survey is completely independent and this shows just how far the Mazda brand has come."
The company also announced this month that it is aiming for a 20 per cent increase in sales for the remainder of 2013 following the launch of its new sixth-generation SKYACTIV system.
