Mercedes-Benz has been named winner of this year's Best Fleet Dealer Network (Aftersales) honour at the annual Experteye Awards.

Held in London's Mayfair this week, the awards ceremony used feedback from more than 10,000 professional drivers of leased vehicles in 2013 and aimed to highlight those providers who are excelling in the delivery of services to fleet users.

Sally Dennis, national fleet sales manager for strategic accounts at Mercedes-Benz UK, collected the award and noted the company's honour at taking home the first such accolade to be voted for directly by the manufacturer's customers and clients.

Rick Yarrow, managing director of Experteye, commented: "All results are based on independent feedback we receive from company car drivers, making Mercedes deserved winners of the best fleet dealer network for aftersales for 2014."

Compiled throughout 2013, the results showed a 19 per cent annual increase in the number of registrations for the fleet sector in comparison to 2012.
