Businesses across the UK continue to see fleet safety and eco driving as "hot topics" and as a result, vehicle safety organisation Brake is running seminars to highlight best practice in these areas for firms.
Roslyn Cumming, development manager at Brake, said: "Eco driving continues to be a hot topic; it's a no-brainer for fleets, offering financial, environmental and safety benefits."
Aidan Rowsome, general manager at GreenRoad Europe, added that the rate of innovation by vehicle manufacturers means eco driving is evolving at a rapid pace and the forum will highlight numerous ways in which firms could cut their fuel consumption.
Brake's eco driving seminar will take place in Leeds on May 15th.
Last month, the Institute of Advanced Motorists highlighted a number of simple tips that could provide a boost to eco driving practices for firms.
The organisation advised all drivers to stick to the 70 mph speed limit on motorways, as travelling at 85 mph results in the consumption of an extra litre of petrol every 20 miles.
