Fiat Professional has announced an excellent level of growth during the first six months of 2013 in comparison to the same period last year.

The company reported a more than 50 per cent upturn in vehicle registrations in the six months from January to June this year at 7,150 units – increasing its UK market share by a further 1.3 per cent.

Sebastiano Fedrigo, director at Fiat Professional UK, said: "We are delighted with the results achieved so far and it is particularly pleasing to see more and more customers driving our products."

He added the brand continues to witness a significant upturn in demand from UK buyers and is growing in both the corporate fleet and retail sectors across the board.

Models offered by the company for UK buyers include Fiat's Doblo, Doblo Cargo, Ducato and Fiorino vehicles. In addition, each comes as standard with a number of highly sought after safety features, including the manufacturer's electronic stability programme (ESP).
