A new fleet deal has been struck between Toyota and Toyota Material Handling UK (TMHUK) – a national sales and servicing contractor for Toyota forklift trucks and warehouse equipment.
The company will be taking on 116 new Toyota Proace light commercial vehicles to bolster its fleet offering for staff, delivering excellent functionality and versatility for its users.
Proace joined the Toyota fleet offering earlier this year and delivers a payload capacity of up to 1.2 tonnes and comes with a choice of three diesel engines and six cubic metres of load space.
Phill Bird, after sales director for TMHUK, commented: "After a rigorous process of testing the Toyota Proace ticked all the boxes for comfort, efficiency and effectiveness for our field technicians."
He added the vehicles are more than just vans, as they offer a spacious interior for parts storage and labour to deliver a mobile workshop for fitters and hands-on professionals.
