Honda has topped the charts in this year's What Car? and Warranty Direct Reliability Survey, making it a record eight years in a row the vehicle manufacturer has grabbed first place.
The survey examined the responses of 50,000 car owners across the UK, as well as basing its results on claims data from UK insurers.
Phil Crossman, managing director at Honda (UK), commented: "Success in reliability studies further proves the dedication, skill and passion of our engineers, associates and dealer network. We are incredibly proud to be the most reliable manufacturer in the industry – yet again!"
Chas Hallett, editor in chief of What Car? magazine, added the result is based on hard facts and figures, highlighting how Honda creates cars that are unlikely to let their owners down.
The Honda Jazz and Civic models also came out on top in their respective categories in the recent Which? Car Reliability and Best Buy survey.
