Nissan has announced the launch of its new Note model for buyers across the UK.

Priced at £11,900 on-the-road, the vehicle comes complete with a range of innovative new features from Nissan's design team, including NissanConnect, Around View Monitors and the manufacturer's Nissan Safety Shield technology.

The company has already taken in excess of 14,000 advanced orders for its latest Note model, with early indications that the popularity of the vehicle will exceed all expectations of the manufacturer over the coming months.

It is built at the company's plant in Sunderland and the hopes are that the vehicle will see more than 100,000 sales within its first year, with deliveries starting this week.

Geraldine Ingham, chief marketing manager for Nissan in Europe, commented: "[The] new Note fulfils a really important role in our new product portfolio, combining smart design with purposeful technology that has never been offered in the B-segment before."
