Vehicle manufacturer Nissan has showcased a host of new designs for its range of models in 2012 at the Paris Motor Show.

Updates for its Qashqai 360, Juke and 370Z coupe and roadsters were revealed, while the company also showcased its new PIVO 3 Zero Emissions concept car at the event, as well as the new Micra Elle model.

The vehicle manufacturer also took the opportunity to highlight its continuing aim of expansion in Europe, with the firm claiming it remains on course for another year of growth in the region in 2012.

Last month, Nissan announced a slight downturn in overall sales for July this year, recording a 3.8 per cent downturn at 53,323 units sold during the month.

Nissan vice president for sales operations in Europe Guillaume Cartier said: "Nissan enjoyed another robust month in July in Europe, with the popularity of our models counteracting the generally difficult market conditions in some countries."
