Porsche is set to hold a museum exhibition highlighting 60 years of its fan clubs in 2012.
The company will open its Porsche Museum in Stuttgart to members of the public and fans of the marque from May 26th to August 26th.
In addition, Dr Wolfgang Porsche will be donating one vehicle from his private collection to this year's exhibition, in the form of a special 911 Turbo S (Type 993).
Other attractions are set to include the 12th Porsche 356 produced in Zuffenhausen, a Porsche 968 Turbo S and a Porsche 911 Turbo Targa.
In total, there are 640 recognised Porsche Clubs in operation around the world today, comprising approximately 181,000 members.
At present, a new special exhibition is running at the museum until May 20th entitled Identity 911.
The premise of the show is to highlight the changing technologies and unique styling which have shaped the 911 brand over the last 40 years.
