The annual Which? Car Survey has been carried out for 2013 and this year's best car brand as recommended by the consumer watchdog has been named as Porsche.
It posed the question to the UK public: "Who makes the best cars?" and for the second year in a row Porsche has come out on top.
Based on the feedback of more than 57,000 respondents, the survey took into account factors including comfort, reliability, performance, value, depreciation and more, with Porsche doing extremely well in many of these categories.
The report's authors stated: "Reliability for cars over three years old is decent and owners who can afford to buy one are fanatical about their worth, giving the brand a 94 per cent customer score."
In addition, Which? revealed upcoming improvements for both the Boxster and Cayman models could see Porsche clinch a third year in a row in 2014.
