The Peugeot RCZ has been awarded one of the top titles as part of this year's DieselCar Awards for the third year in a row.
It has been named DieselCar magazine's desirable sports coupe of 2012 – adding to its accolades in this category in 2010 and 2011.
Product manager Mark Blundell said: "The RCZ turns heads wherever it goes, as does our awards cabinet which is bristling with accolades demonstrating its appeal."
Other titles which the RCZ has picked up in recent years include the coupe of the year award 2010 from Top Gear magazine, best sports car and overall sports car of the year 2010 from the Daily Star newspaper, and the reader's design car of the year 2010 from Auto Express magazine.
Available with three engine choices, the RCZ provides 1.6 and two-litre options for buyers and also includes a range of safety technologies as standard, such as intelligent traction control to reduce the likelihood of motorists skidding in adverse driving conditions.
