Operators of vehicle fleets could benefit from a new seminar set to help with identifying and managing the risks involved with this activity.
Hosted by Total Accident Management and TR Fleet, the meeting will take place on July 6th at the BMW Group Plant in Oxford.
Events on the agenda include talks on legal requirements and road safety, accident scenarios and group discussions.
It will help employers fully understand the risks they face when operating a vehicle fleet.
Operations director at Total Accident Management Amanda Mullans said: "The law is continually evolving and through speaking to employers on a daily basis, we have found many of them to be unaware of the changes and what risks it opens up for their fleets."
The impact of legislation such as the Corporate Manslaughter Act could be particularly important to fleet operators, it was noted.
It was recently warned by the Association of Car Fleet Operators that police are on the look-out for companies that are negligent in this area and are prepared to prosecute fleet operators if there is a fatality involving an at-work driver.
