Having embraced telematics and partnered with technology provider Tracker, the company is now better able to meet the needs of its clients, while also boosting the safety of its drivers and fleets.

He added that the new system also ensures the company can keep a closer eye on costs and providing detailed information to its clients, as it is able to provide exact details on journey times, distances and delivery timeframes.

Earlier this year, Tracker was bestowed the prestigious Technology Award at this year's Van Fleet World 2012 Honours.

The firm was praised for its highly sophisticated product, which offers peace of mind to its users, the judges stated.
