Representatives from the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) will be in attendance at this year's Freight Transport Association (FTA) Van Excellence conference.

VOSA’s traffic enforcement policy manager Gordon MacDonald will be making a keynote address to the conference attendees, which will be taking place in Dunblane next month.

Companies are being offered insights into the operational standards of vehicles across both the UK and the rest of the world by the VOSA chief, while they will also be given advice on how to reduce operational costs, upcoming legislation, enforcement and future technologies.

FTA head of vans Mark Cartwright commented: "FTA applauds the efforts of VOSA to increase general operational standards and we are delighted that VOSA has agreed to come along and provide its views on the issues facing van operators."

The event is being held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro on October 29th and will be running from 09:30 to 16:30.
