Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has dominated the inaugural 2014 Business Van Awards, taking home no fewer than six titles in the 12 categories up for grabs.

The Transporter was named both van of the year by Business Van, as well as picking up the honour of best large trades van. Meanwhile, the manufacturer's Crafter model was named best large van and the Amarok secured both the best utility pick-up and best double cab awards.

Moreover, the business as a whole was celebrated for its commitment to its customers and was awarded the best service package for van owners title for 2014.

Alex Smith, director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, commented: "We're delighted to receive these honours from Business Van. To get such recognition demonstrates the strength of the brand and the quality of our products."
