Volvo has launched a new Co-Pilot website and supporting social media channels. This new programme gives customers access to advice and information from a range of partners, which includes The Fuelcard People.
The Co-Pilot programme provides a free suite of expert assistance designed to help small businesses with driver safety, compliance and reducing running costs. It is offered to all SMEs that buy or lease a Volvo.
The valuable information available on the new website addresses three main areas: legal compliance; safety and risk management; and business optimisation.
Updates will also be sent out across a number of social media channels, these can be found by searching “Co-Pilot Business” on LinkedIn, Google+ and YouTube, or by following @copilotbusiness on Twitter.
Head of business sales at Volvo Car UK, Selwyn Cooper said: “Safety saves lives and it saves money – it isn’t just a ‘nice to have’. We’ve worked hard to ensure Co-Pilot addresses a real business need and it will help SMEs identify and address safety issues, with tailored solutions where appropriate.”
“And with business drivers particularly at risk of accident or injury, this is another step towards our vision that by 2020 no driver should be killed or seriously injured in a new Volvo.”
The programme now includes access to expertise, in-depth information and membership special offers from a range of Co-Pilot partners including: driver risk management experts Fleet21, Transport for London, Specsavers, discount fuel company The Fuelcard People, Here navigation, driver safety app creators Romex, and RoadHawk black box recording systems.
Co-Pilot will also give members complete access to the Driving for Better Business campaign, which shares best practice on business driver safety from companies including Michelin, ING and Centrica.
