The Peugeot Bipper has been named the best light van of 2012 at the Fleet World Honours.

Judges at the awards highlighted the vehicle's capacious interior and large load capacity as two of the main reasons for its popularity among light commercial vehicle (LCV) buyers across the UK.

Available on the road from £13,089, the Bipper features a total payload of 660 kg and a capacity of 2.5 cubic metres.

"Winning this prestigious award is yet another demonstration of the importance we place in product excellence with good customer support and after-sales service," commented Jonathan Bates, Peugeot LCV product manager.

He claimed the Bipper is thoroughly deserving of this title given its excellent fuel efficiency and low emissions, which make it an excellent choice for urban users.
