An all-new petrol version of the Mazda6 has been unveiled by the vehicle manufacturer, with the vehicle aimed squarely at the UK's fleet operators.
The new 2.0-litre 145ps petrol Mazda6 offers 22 per cent improved mpg in comparison to the previous model, as well as a 27 per cent increase in torque, 21 per cent more power and a reduction in CO2 emissions of 17 per cent.
Mazda's head of fleet Steve Tomlinson said: "We believe that the all-new petrol-engined Mazda6 offers the perfect choice as employees can enjoy the car's top-notch performance whilst benefiting from tax savings versus competitor models."
The new model is set to go on sale in the UK in January and will cost from £19,595 on-the-road.
Earlier this month, the Mazda6 was highlighted for its excellent performance in maintaining residual values, with the introduction of the manufacturer's SkyActiv technology as standard helping to ensure the vehicle continues to hold its value for longer.
